Amber Ray’s sister, Ellah Ray, has confirmed that her relationship with controversial businessman Steve Odek is over after years of enduring what she described as pain and betrayal. The mother of one revealed on Instagram that she decided to walk away after three years and eight months together, accusing Odek of repeated infidelity.
Ellah recently went on a rant online, exposing her baby daddy for allegedly cheating on her with several women, including actress Jackie Matubia. The rumours first surfaced after blogger Edgar Obare shared a video of Odek with Matubia, sparking speculation among fans. Matubia later denied the allegations, insisting that she and Odek were just friends, but Ellah claimed the betrayals had gone on for too long.
In a heartfelt message to her daughter, Ellah explained that her decision was not about abandoning the relationship but about choosing peace and dignity.
“So I’m choosing us, you and me. I want you to grow up seeing strength, dignity, and love, not suffering in silence. One day, you will understand that this choice was not about leaving but about protecting us. You are my whole heart, and everything I do is to give you a better life. With all my love, mum,” she wrote.
She went on to warn her followers never to associate her with Odek again, making it clear that she has closed that chapter of her life. In another post, she hinted at embracing her newfound freedom by sharing a humorous reel showing a woman being welcomed back into a friend’s house, captioned: “POV: My friends greeting me as I return to the streets 😭😂.”
Despite the chatter, Ellah maintains that she has chosen to prioritize her peace and her daughter’s well-being over staying in a toxic relationship. Her bold step marks a new chapter in her life, one she says will be built on strength, dignity, and self-respect.
